Situated in the heart of a residential area, this classic house has been transformed by an extension with an original massing, whose distinctive roof becomes the signature of the project.
The main challenge was to add a contemporary volume to the rear, while preserving the architectural identity of the existing house.
Our stability assignment involved the design and dimensioning of this ambitious extension. The challenge was to guarantee structural continuity despite the difference in styles, while ensuring the durability of the project and its harmonious integration with the original building.
The result is a house that expands, opens up and breathes more, supported by a new balance that blends traditional language with a more contemporary style, in which each part finds its place.
