2141 – Construction of a hockey club in Mons

Behind the understated design lies teamwork

Born out of a desire to promote field hockey in the Mons region, the Ascalon Hockey Club’s new facilities are supporting the growth of a club that now brings together hundreds of players of all ages. Designed as a place for people to meet and share their knowledge, the project offers comprehensive sports facilities and a functional infrastructure, capable of accommodating a community driven by a passion for the sport.

Our structural engineering work has helped to bring this vision to life. Behind the simplicity of the building’s form lies a great deal of structural design and coordination work, aimed at ensuring that the spaces are robust, durable and perfectly suited to intensive use.

Now complete, the building blends seamlessly into its surroundings and forms an integral part of the club’s daily life. This project illustrates how expert structural design can underpin a collective endeavour and provide a reliable, sustainable framework that is well-suited to the life of a rapidly growing sports club.
