1822 - Conversion of a villa in Rhode-Saint-Genèse

The framework of the structure illuminated from the inside

As part of this project, we carried out a major conversion of a villa in Rhode-Saint-Genèse. Respecting the existing building, the work was discreetly integrated into the original architecture. Although the extension is almost imperceptible from the outside, it has given rise to a veritable metamorphosis of the interior spaces.

At the rear, the volumes are opened up by very large, almost full-height windows, creating a fluid continuity between the ground floor and the garden. Here, natural light reveals the vastness of the spaces and changes the perception of the place. The exterior becomes an integral part of the interior, a visual and spatial extension.

This dialogue between structure and light redefines uses. Spaces gain in clarity, openness and comfort. It's a measured intervention, bringing about a transformation in which light binds together shapes, redefines contours and renews ways of living.
