1717 - Renovation of an architect's house in Nethen

In keeping with modernist lines, a house open to observation of its surroundings

As part of this assignment, we renovated and recreated the volumes of a house originally designed by Belgian modernist architect Eliane Havenit.

Nestling in the heart of a vast green space, this residence stands out for its exceptional location: it was designed as a real vantage point, open to the surrounding nature, the tall trees and the village landscape, from which the bell tower can be seen in the distance. Our work has thus respected and revived the spirit of the original project, conceived as a haven of peace in constant dialogue with its environment.

Structurally, the renovation involved recreating the roof volumes, restoring the house's original architectural identity. The whole project was completed with a new concrete swimming pool, adding a contemporary touch that naturally extends the spirit of the house and reinforces the idea of a soothing and inspiring living environment, in harmony with nature.
