115 - Church of Rozoy-sur-Serre

The challenge of time: preserving the thousand-year-old soul of Rozoy

The current parish church, formerly the collegiate church of Rozoy-sur-Serre castle, founded in 1018, bears witness to a thousand years of history and numerous restorations. In 2013, this building was the subject of an exceptional intervention in which we were able to participate as stability engineers.

Our mission was to ensure the structural stability of the church, with a particular focus on the framework and rafters. Using advanced 3D models, we carried out a study that respected the heritage constraints and unique characteristics of this historic monument.

This project, combining technical challenges and conservation requirements, embodies the heart of our expertise and is now one of our exceptional projects.
