Technical construction draughtsman

Job description:

As a technical construction draughtsman - BIM modeller, you will work closely with the engineers in our office and our partner architects. 

You will work on various construction and conversion projects, carrying out :

  • Preliminary, design, execution and stability plans.
  • Sectional drawings, elevations, plan views and details.
  • Formwork and reinforcement plans, as well as plans for concrete, steel and timber structures.
  • 3D modelling and BIM model management.
  • Quantity surveys and specifications.

You'll also be actively involved in our monthly technical meetings, where we share our expertise and discuss the best constructive and organisational solutions.

Your participation in site meetings may also be considered.

Skills required:

  • Experience or training as a construction draughtsman.
  • Proficiency in BIM software and AutoCAD. Knowledge of SCIA and Allplan is an asset.

Stability engineer

Job description:

  • You will be responsible for detailed studies of a wide range of structures in both the public and private sectors, including housing, residential buildings, commercial buildings, public infrastructure and industrial projects.
  • Supported by an expert engineer, you will work with draughtsmen and engineers/architects to design optimal structural solutions.
  • You will take part in technical meetings and site visits with external parties (customers, architects, contractors, inspection bodies, etc.).
  • You will be responsible for the technical supervision of your projects from the design stage through to completion on site. You will carry out detailed structural calculations (reinforced concrete, steel, wood, CLT, etc.) in compliance with current standards. You will draw up technical specifications tailored to each project.

Skills required:

  • You have a degree in civil engineering or civil engineering-architecture in construction. Initial experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
  • You are familiar with structural calculation software such as Scia Engineer, AllPlan and IDEA StatiCa.
  • You will be rigorous, enthusiastic, a team player and show initiative.
  • You have a good command of the French language. Knowledge of Dutch/English is a plus.
